Congratulations to the Dancer of the Month, Texi Herrick and the
Junior Dancer of the Month, Heidi Haskins. Thanks for doing such a great
job in dance class!

All dance students need to start putting their names in their dance shoes. Every week shoes are left behind and put in lost in found. This is very important for the Creative Movement class where the shoes get switched around easily!!

Please continue to have good attendance in your dance classes, the recital is right around the corner. If any student misses class contact the studio at 358-0525 or send an email to jillsdancestudio@yahoo.com. We will be taking measurements at the beginning of this month to order the spring recital costumes.

New students will be selling candles as a fundraiser for costume fees from
Monday, February 1st through Monday, February 15th. This is not a required
fundraiser.

Come support the Douglas Dolls, Douglas Darlings and your Douglas Bearcats on Saturday, February 13th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 20th at 7:00 p.m. The Dance Teams will be performing at half time.

Stars of Tomorrow is having auditions for local talent on Sunday, February 7th at 1:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. For a registration form please ask your dance instructor.

Solos, Duets, Trios and Small group dances will be auditioning for spots in the Spring Recital in April. Please start choreographing these routines soon! Don’t
forget that the theme is ‘Hurray for Hollywood’ and all songs must come from a movie. Call or email the dance studio to see which songs are already being used.
