MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
October Newsletter
Congratulations to the October junior dancer of the month, Tallie Miller and the dancer of the month, Gabrielle Murphy! Thank you for all of your hard work in class. There are a lot of dancer of the month forms without pictures. We need the picture in order for your child to be considered. Happy Birthday to Madison Henggeler (10/15), Kelsey Porter (10/16, Faith Kunz (10/17) and Shaylee Kleemeyer (10/18)!
We are wrapping up our pretzel fundraiser. All money and paperwork is due no later than Thursday, October 9th. Any orders received after this date will not be filled. November’s Newsletter will announce the winners of our contest.
Costume measurements and costume fees are due no later than Friday, October 24th. If your child participated in the pretzel fundraiser individual emails will be sent out about how much is owed for your child’s costumes. If your child did not participate, costume fee sheets were sent home the last few weeks of September. Please call the studio at 358-0525 if you have any questions.
At the Spring dance recital awards will be given to students with perfect attendance. So beginning this month, we will start keeping track for these awards. It is very important to attend class so that all students are able to perform for the dance recital. If a student is going to be absent please notify the dance studio by calling or sending an email to office@jillsdancestudio.com.
Octoberfest is on Friday, October 24th at the fairgrounds. Both dance teams will be performing and will also have a booth. We are raffling off a microwave & La Costa gift certificates, selling carmel corn & doing a candy corn guessing game. Come out to support the Douglas Dolls and Douglas Darlings!
Please send your child to class with a blank CD. I will put their song for the Christmas recital on the CD. This way they can practice at home. The DVD order from the Spring recital has been placed. If you still would like to order a DVD or haven’t made your payment please contact the studio.
Have a Safe & Happy Halloween!
